The LionsBot R12 Rex Scrub is a large-format autonomous floor scrubber-dryer built by LionsBot International (Singapore). It is a commercial and industrial cleaning robot designed to scrub and dry expansive hard floors with minimal operator involvement, navigating and avoiding obstacles autonomously via 3D LiDAR.

What it does
The R12 Rex Scrub cleans with an 810 mm path from two 16-inch brushes applying up to 80 kg of downward pressure, then squeegee-dries behind it for an immediately walkable floor. It carries dual 140 L solution and recovery tanks and a 5 L chemical pouch, delivering practical cleaning throughput of 1,500–2,500 m2/h on up to 8 hours of runtime. It maps and navigates using 3D LiDAR with 240 m diameter coverage plus supporting cameras and sonar for obstacle detection, and it can be operated manually, by touchscreen, or fully autonomously via the LionsClean app. With its auto refuel station it returns on its own to recharge, refill clean water, and drain waste, enabling extended unattended operation.

The R12 Rex Scrub is built for cleaning extensive hard-floor areas in commercial and industrial settings such as airports, transport hubs, shopping centres, warehouses, and manufacturing and retail facilities. LionsBot's own deployment gallery shows the robot operating at London Gatwick Airport and at the Our Tampines Hub community complex in Singapore. Its 240 m LiDAR range and high tank capacity make it suited to large, open floor plans where long uninterrupted cleaning cycles are valuable.
