AGIBOT X2 / X2 Ultra
Agile half-size humanoid for service, reception and interactive engagement
The AGIBOT X2 (and higher-spec X2 Ultra) is a half-size bipedal humanoid robot from AGIBOT, the Shanghai-based robotics maker also known as Zhiyuan Robotics. Standing about 1.31 m tall and weighing roughly 35-39 kg, it is built for commercial service, reception, and interactive entertainment scenarios where natural human-robot interaction and mobility matter.
1.31 m tall, ~35 kg (X2) / ~39 kg (X2 Ultra)
Up to 25 DoF (X2) / 30 DoF (X2 Ultra)
Walking speed up to 1.8 m/s
X2 Ultra: Orin NX 157 TOPS AI compute plus dual RK3588
X2 Ultra sensing: 3D LiDAR, RGB-D and multi-RGB cameras
What it does
The X2 walks with a humanoid gait at up to 1.8 m/s and performs coordinated upper- and lower-body movements, including expressive gestures and dance routines synchronized with voice. It supports multimodal interaction across vision, voice, touch, and facial expression for two-way communication. The X2 Ultra adds autonomous navigation with proactive obstacle avoidance and automatic recharging via a docking station, driven by a richer sensor suite (3D LiDAR, RGB-D and multiple RGB cameras) and an added 157 TOPS Orin NX AI module alongside its dual RK3588 boards. AGIBOT also provides a secondary-development framework for custom applications.
Where it's used
AGIBOT positions the X2 series for commercial performance and entertainment, in-store reception and customer greeting, exhibition and tourism guiding, and research and education in embodied AI and human-robot interaction. It has been demonstrated publicly at industry events such as MWC Barcelona 2026 and IDECS 2025 in Sarawak. Typical deployments are public-facing, interactive settings where an approachable, mobile humanoid engages directly with visitors and customers.
Why operators choose it
Engages customers and visitors directly with voice, vision, touch and facial-expression interaction
Mobile humanoid form factor moves through public spaces at up to 1.8 m/s
Ultra variant runs unattended via autonomous navigation and self-docking charging
Open secondary-development framework lets integrators build custom service applications
Compact half-size build with flexible shell suited to close public interaction
