FlashBot Arm
Dual-arm service robot that operates elevators, doors and deliveries autonomously
The PUDU FlashBot Arm is a semi-humanoid embodied AI service robot from PUDU Robotics that pairs a wheeled autonomous delivery base with two dexterous robotic arms. It combines secure cabinet delivery with humanoid-style manipulation, targeting commercial service settings such as hotels, offices and healthcare facilities. Its purpose is to complete end-to-end delivery and physical-interaction tasks in existing buildings without facility retrofits.
Two 7-DOF arms with PUDU DH11 hands (11 DOF), reach up to 2 m
15 kg payload in enclosed dual-door delivery compartment
VSLAM + LiDAR SLAM with RGBD, LiDAR and panoramic cameras
Autonomous elevator operation, door opening and access-card use
~8h runtime, 4h charge, auto-recharging and multi-robot collaboration
What it does
The robot navigates autonomously using VSLAM and LiDAR SLAM to build 3D maps and avoid obstacles, while RGBD cameras, LiDAR, panoramic cameras and pressure-sensitive skin provide perception and safe human interaction. Two 7-DOF arms with PUDU DH11 dexterous hands (11 DOF) let it press elevator buttons, swipe access cards, open doors and grasp and transport items. It carries up to 15 kg in an enclosed dual-door compartment, returns to its dock to recharge automatically, and runs roughly 8 hours unloaded on a 4-hour charge. A large language model supports voice conversation and task planning, and it can coordinate with other robots in the same environment.
Where it's used
According to PUDU and press coverage, the FlashBot Arm is built for commercial service environments including hotels, office buildings, restaurants, retail spaces and healthcare facilities. A primary use case is cross-floor hotel delivery: where buildings lack IoT-integrated elevators or are under renovation, the robot physically operates elevators and doors to complete pickup-to-delivery workflows without infrastructure changes. It also performs button pressing, object grasping and item transport in multi-floor, mixed human-robot settings.
Why operators choose it
Operates existing elevators, doors and access cards without costly building retrofits
Combines secure delivery and physical manipulation in one platform
Autonomous recharging and ~8h runtime support unattended operation
Multi-robot collaboration scales fleets across busy multi-floor sites
Pressure-sensitive skin and force control enable safe human-robot interaction
