X30 / X30 Pro
Industrial quadruped built for autonomous inspection in the harshest environments
The DEEP Robotics X30 (and uprated X30 Pro) is an industrial-grade quadruped robot from Chinese manufacturer DEEP Robotics, positioned as the company's flagship four-legged platform. It is engineered for autonomous inspection, security patrol, surveying, and emergency-response work in complex and hazardous environments where wheeled platforms struggle.
IP67 rated, operates -20C to 55C
Max speed >=4 m/s, slopes up to 45 degrees
2.5-4 h runtime, patrol range >=10 km
Fusion LiDAR + visual perception, works in zero light
Tool-free quick-swap battery, 56 kg (59 kg Pro)
What it does
The X30 walks, climbs, and patrols autonomously over stairs, slopes up to 45 degrees, and obstacles of 20 cm or more, automatically adapting its gait to uneven and slippery terrain. A fusion perception stack combining LiDAR and visual sensors lets it navigate in total darkness, strong glare, or changing light. It carries inspection payloads such as cameras and thermal imaging, runs 2.5 to 4 hours per charge with a patrol range of at least 10 km, and supports tool-free quick-swap batteries to minimize downtime.
Where it's used
DEEP Robotics promotes the X30 series for power and utility inspection, tunnel and pipeline-corridor monitoring, metal and mining sites, construction, emergency response and rescue, security patrol, and scientific research. Its IP67 rating and -20°C to 55°C operating range suit substations, industrial plants, and confined or contaminated spaces where sending personnel is slow or unsafe. The platform is sold internationally through DEEP Robotics' own channels and specialist robotics distributors in Europe.
Why operators choose it
Automates routine and hazardous inspections, reducing risk to personnel
Operates day or night thanks to LiDAR-plus-visual fusion perception
IP67 build and -20 to 55C range handle dust, rain, and extreme sites
Quick-swap batteries keep patrols running with minimal downtime
Traverses stairs, 45-degree slopes, and rough terrain wheeled robots cannot
